CD Review: Burn Halo Rises "Up From The Ashes"
The album's lead-single "Tear It Down" has blown-up on rock radio and is currently climbing the Mainstream Rock Singles chart. The song is a pure blast of energy that is missing from a lot of today's rock radio hits. James Hart's vocals have become more focused and he does not try to outdo the duel guitar attack of Joey Roxx and Brandon Lynn. The band blazes a path with "Up From The Ashes" as the tempo slows with the difficult subject tackled in "Threw It All Away". Burn Halo's aggressive side comes out on "Alone" before heading more mainstream on "Give Me A Sign". The oldest song on the album is "Dakota" which was written years ago according to James Hart. The song is the heaviest, hardest hitting song on the album and is a definite welcome to the album' s overall appeal.
Be on the lookout for a new video for their single "Tear It Down" as well as tour dates. Please visit the band's myspace page (myspace.com/burnhalo) for song samples and information on the new album.
