Michigan metal band Chiodos released their latest album "Devil" earlier this year where it entered the Billboard Album charts at #12. The band is currently on tour as part of the "Parks & Devastation Tour" with A Day To Remember and Bring Me The Horizon. It is the first album to feature the return of original front man Craig Owens and drummer Derrick Frost. It also features the debut recording of the band's new lead guitarist Thomas Erak (The Fall Of Troy).
The thirteen-song release begins with the classical piano of "U.G. Introduction," before kicking it into high gear for the power metal feel of "We're Talking About Practice." They continue their heavy metal attack with the aggressive strength of "Ole Fishlips Is Dead Now," before heading into more mainstream rock territory with "3AM" and "Duct Tape." The band returns to their metal roots with the destructive nature of "Expensive Conversations In Cheap Mot," before closing with more of the mainstream hard rock of "Under Your Halo" and "I Am Everything That's Normal."
Chiodos will be appearing at the Toyota Presents The Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT on Wednesday, September 10th as part of the "Parks & Devastation Tour." For a complete list of dates and to find out more about their new album "Devil," please visit chiodos.net.
