On this latest album, we get the debut of Doug Aldrich on guitar as he leads the way, kicking off the new release with the hard-hitting rocker "Long Way To Go." The new album allows everyone to bring together their talents together as songs like "We All Fall Down" and "Mine All Mine" have them sounding like a veteran rock band. They pick up the energy with the quick pace of "Mainline" and blow the doors off with their cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate One." The new twelve-song release closes with the bashing rhythm of "Freedom" and a blazing guitar-fueled cover of The Who's "Join Together." The Dead Daisies are currently on tour in Europe, but will be returning to the States in August to open for KISS on their "Freedom To Rock" tour. American hard rock band, Jackyl made a name for themselves in the early nineties with their self-titled debut album and its follow-up, "Push Comes To Shove." Their hit single "The Lumberjack" features a chainsaw solo that is always a highlight of the band's live show. Their new album titled "ROWYCO" will be released on August 5th and is their first album in four years.
The new
ten song release begins with the thunderous, hard rock delivery of
"Disasterpiece," which showcases that after 25 years, Jackyl still know
how to rock with the best of them. The album's lead single, "Rally" is
the perfect shot of adrenaline to get the blood flowing during hot
summer days and nights. They step outside of their riff-fueled arena
rocker sound for the southern country rock of "Just Because I'm
Drunk." Jackyl strike hard with the shout along anthem, "Crazy," before
closing the album with the countdown to the energetic power of "Blast
Off." Jackyl have a bunch of live shows lined-up in September. For a
complete list of tour dates and to find out more about their new album
"ROWYCO," please visit jackyl.com.
