Soul-singer Sharon Jones is one of the strongest, most inspiring singers
in modern music. She released her first album when she was 40 years old,
never giving up on her dream and she has battled cancer twice, never
giving up hope and leading the fight against this deadly disease. In
October 2015, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings released their first
holiday-themed album titled "It's A Holiday Soul Party." This year, the
album is being re-released on green colored vinyl and Sharon Jones &
The Dap-Kings have three holiday shows lined up in New England,
beginning at the Ridgefield Playhouse on December 8th. The album has
become a must listen for the holidays as Jones mixes together funky
originals like "Ain't No Chimneys In The Projects" and "Just Another
Christmas Song" with jazzed up versions of "White Christmas" and "Silver
Bells." Her vocals just sweep you away on "Silent Night" and "Please
Come Home For Christmas" and The Dap Kings inject some much welcomed
soul into "Funky Little Drummer Boy." For a complete list of tour dates

Singer Tony Hadley, voice of the eighties pop band Spandau Ballet, is
re-releasing his debut holiday album titled "The Christmas Album." It
was originally released last year and this version included three bonus
tracks originally only available on the imported version of the album. Beginning
with the Train original, "Shake Up Christmas," Hadley gets this off to a
fun exciting start. He flashes back in time to the seventies for "I
Believe In Father Christmas," before Kim Wilde duets with Hadley on the
heart-warming Christmas classic "Have Yourself A Merry Little
Christmas." Singer Nina Zilli duets with Hadley on the lesser known,
Celtic "Fairytale Of New York" and Hadley pours all his emotions into
the original "Every Second I'm Away." The new eighteen-song release
wraps up with the fun, up-tempo Chuck Berry original "Run Rudolph Run"
and the spiritually up-lifting "Ave Maria" as Tony Hadley showcases the
full potential of his voice. To find out more about Tony Hadley and the
