The
Grammy-winning, Latin-fusion band Ozomatli recently released their new
studio album "Non-Stop Mexico To Jamaica." They will kick-off the album's debut with a live
show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA. This is the band's 8th
studio album and it features some special guests including Herb Albert,
Juanes and G-Love to name a few. The album also included re-imaged
versions of some famous Latin-based songs.
The new
14-song release begins with the reggae-infused "Eras" as the rhythm
begins to grab hold of you. They deliver a ska-like versions of Selena's
"Como La Flor" and Mana's "Oye Mi Amor." Herb Albert then steps in to help
with the island-flavor of "Besame Mucho." Juanes lends a hand on the
Juan Gabriel classic "Noa Noa," before Kyle McDonald (Slightly Stoopid)
works with Ozomatli on the west-coast vibe of Richie Valens' "La Bamba."
They turn Santana's "Evil Ways" into a dance club hymn, before
finishing up with G-Love and Chali 2Na helping out on the addictive
groove of "Land of 1,000 Dances" and fun electronic swing of Redbone's
"Come And Get Your Love." To find out more about Ozomatli and their
