
Universal Music, in association with Rocket Entertainment, will release "Diamonds" on November 10th in a number of different formats, including one, two and three CD sets along with vinyl and digital formats. The deluxe 3CD set features the same 34-tracks on the 2CD set, along with 3rd disc of 17-more tracks that were hand-picked by Elton as some of his personal favorites. The double-gatefold vinyl only features 21-tracks, while the single disc includes 17 of his biggest hits from this set.
This new release demonstrates how timeless his music still is, as songs like "Tiny Dancer," "Honky Cat," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and "Bennie And The Jets" help to define the sound of the seventies. He hit is pop stride in eighties with songs like "Blue Eyes," "Sad Songs (Say So Much)" and "Nikita." The Disney movie, "The Lion King" breathed new life into his music during the nineties as "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and "Circle Of Life" will live on forever in Disney legacy. Elton John released only five albums over the course of the last 20 years and a handful of songs from those releases round out this new "Diamonds" collection.
