The
multi-platinum selling group, Culture Club gathered together all of the
original members and went on a 40-date world tour in 2016. Their show
at England's Wembley Arena was captured for the band's newest release
"Culture Club Live At Wembley." The first thing you notice is how
timeless the quality of their music is. Culture Club had two Top 20
albums in the U.S. and four in the U.K. during the eighties and their
songs were everywhere on radio and television.
Now,
to celebrate the band's 35th anniversary they recorded their amazingly,
energetic live show for this new Blu-ray, DVD, CD, vinyl release. The band's
80-minute performance covers all of their hits, including "It's A
Miracle," "I Tumble For Ya" and "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me." They
also throw in a couple cover songs, like a reggae version of Bread's " I
Would Give Anything I Own" and the rocking show closer T. Rex's "Bang A
Gong (Get It On)."
It's
great to see Boy George interact with the audience and with the band,
especially during the R&B ballad "Black Money" and the funky "Like I
Used To." Culture Club get serious and invite the audience to
sing-along during the chorus of "The War Song," before turning up the
party lights for their biggest hit single "Karma Chameleon." Watching
the video, you see how each member enjoys being on stage with the band
that made them into rock stars. To find out more about "Culture Club
