The New Year Kicks Off With New Releases And A New Tour From Of Mice & Men Along With Cane Hill

Arriving January 19th is the fifth studio album from the California metal band Of Mice & Men. The new release titled "Defy" will lead the way for the band's headlining tour, which kicks off February 1st in Santa Cruz, CA and makes its way across the US. The album starts off with the title-song "Defy" as the song's chugging rhythm and addictive chorus will certainly mark the return for Of Mice & Men. The band kicks it up a notch with the intensity of "Instincts," before letting up on the assault with the more melodic, mainstream feel of "Back To Me." The vocal screams ignite "Unbreakable," before Of Mice & Men try their hand at the Pink Floyd classic "Money" and turn it into a hard rock statement of today's economy. They finish up their new release with the high-powered metalcore energy of "Warzone" and the mainstream rock ballad "If We Were Ghosts." Jumping on tour with Of Mice & Men is the hardcore metal band Cane Hill as they support their new album "Too Far Gone," which will also be released on January 19th. Their new 10-song album is the band's second full-length release as showcases the band's hard hitting, aggressive sound right from the opening track "Too Far Gone." They lock into the addictive metal groove of "Lord Of The Flies," then add a grungier sound to "Singing In The Swamp" as Cane Hill showcase the growth in their songwriting since their debut release "Smile" back in 2016. The band motors through the emotional toll of "Erased," before delivering a more industrial metal sound on "Why." Cane Hill finish up their new release with the intense, 2-minute thrash metal attack of "Scumbag Fix" and the thunderous rhythm of "The End."
