The Americana band The Wood Brothers deliver their new studio album "One Drop Of Truth" on February 2nd. It is the trio's first studio release in three years and The Wood Brothers look to build upon the success of their last studio album "Paradise" and live album "Live At The Barn." The Wood Brothers are also currently on tour in the U.S., now picking up the second half of their tour, which runs through April.
The new 10-song release begins with the trio strumming their strings on the acoustic-based blues of "River Takes The Town," before plugging in for the steady folk/rock swing of "Happiness Jones." The stomp rhythm of "Laughin' Or Crying" builds up the electric blues chorus, while the quieter "Strange As It Seems" is a gentle acoustic piece that will find its way into your soul. The Wood Brothers break down a funky groove for "Sky High" and "Sparkling Wine," before closing their new album with the slow, acoustic blues of "Can't Look Away."
