From Virginia comes the latest release from Caverns Of Pine titled "Dissociate." The new 6-song EP centers around sexual abuse as bandleader Brad Perry has been an advocate for sexual violence prevention for over 15 years. The music starts out with dark, slow-build up, grunge-like movement of "The Body Keeps Score," before the edgier, heavier tones of "All Instinct" take over your speakers. The album continues with the pounding, punk-like rhythm of "Hexed Reckoning" and then finishes with the raw, alternative rock of "Cheap Grace."
