From the streets of Beantown comes the new album from the Boston punk-rock band, Street Dogs titled "Stand For Something Or Die For Nothing." The new release will be available on June 22nd through Century Media and contains 11-tracks of quick moving, high energy anthems, beginning with the title song, which is a rally cry for the working man. They continue with the empowerment of "The Comeback Zone" and add a little Irish flair to the edginess of "These Ain't The Old Days." Street Dogs raise the energy up another level with the punk like fury of "Working Class Heroes," before wrapping up their latest album with the pounding rhythm of "Never Above You, Never Below You" and a cover of the Rolling Stones' song "Torn And Frayed." Next, from Los Angeles, comes the full-length debut album from Knee High Fox. The new release titled "Jawbreaker" features eight, electronic rock tracks, beginning with the quick, pulsating beats of "Witch" as you simply get drawn into the iconic vocals of singer Krsy Fox. She spurts out lyrics like a rapper during "Those Girls" and also showcases her pop side, as she works the dance beats like an expert. Knee High Fox display the raw, punk-like edginess of the title-song "Jawbreaker" and "Ladylike," as Krsy screams the chorus, before returning back to the pop world of "Peephole," along with her cover of "Lovefool." It features 13-tracks, beginning with the passionate, alternative rocker "Gotta Get It" and the orchestral instrumental backdrop of "Coronal Mass Ejection." The band continues with the mellow, spaced-out tones of "Nosheka" and the fuzzed-out, psych-rock of "The Golden Sea." Umbra & The Volcan showcase their bluesier side with their re-imagined cover of The Shangri-Las' "Walking In The Sand" and the grand build-up of "Someone Will Love You," before closing their new release with a grunge-like cover of Bob Dylan's "If Not For You" and the sweeping sounds of "Jamaica."
