Arriving around the kick-off of summer are a couple hot anticipated albums from Metal Blade Records artists, Lizzy Borden and Kissin' Dynamite. Lizzy Borden has been one of the forefathers of heavy metal music in the eighties, reaching their commercial success in the late-eighties with the albums "Visual Lies" and "Master Of Disguise." He returns with his seventh studio album "My Midnight Things," his first new work in 11 years. The new 10-song release, begins with the classic feel of Borden's sound on the title song, before taking the energy up a notch for the intense feel of "Obsessed With You." The album continues with the mainstream appeal of "Long May They Haunt Us" and "The Scar Across My Heart," which carries on the group's iconic sound that put them on the hard rock music map 30 years ago. Lizzy Borden wraps up his new album with the love story of "Run Away With Me" and the addictive chorus of "We Belong To The Shadows." Arriving July 6th is the new studio album titled "Ecstasy," from Germany's Kissin' Dynamite. Even though they live over 9,000 miles away from Los Angeles, their sound comes straight from the Sunset Strip. Their new 13-song release kicks off with the explosion of "I've Got The Fire" and the support of "You're Not Alone." There sound gets a little dirtier on the chugging guitar riffs of "Somebody's Got To Do It," before slowing down for the power ballad "Still Around." Kissin' Dynamite finish up their new album with the high-powered energy of "Superhuman," the politically charged anthem "Waging War" and the intense, thunderous pounding of "No Time To Wonder."
