The musical duo, Hymn For Her are preparing to release their new album, "Pop-N-Downers" on October 5th. Their new album features 11-tracks that draws from their experiences traveling the world. They begin with the beautiful, lush harmonies of "Blue Balloons" and the Americana/rock energy of "Human Condition." The album continues with the gentle, acoustics of "November" and the country/roots vibe of "Scoop." Hymn For Her expand their sound outside the boundaries of America with the Italian strumming of "Roses," the slight Latin flair of "Shallow Graves" and the Irish/Celtic energy of "Dingle Town." The duo of Lucy Tight and Wayne Waxing finish up their new album with the fun, up-tempo, Americana sounds of the "First Clown On The Moon," before the quiet, jazz vibe of "Auf Wiedersehen" closes the album, but not before the unlisted bonus track, a cover of "It's Only A Paper Moon." Hymn For Her are hitting the road on September 7th for a 3-month tour of the U.S. For a complete list of shows and to find out more about their new album "Pop-N-Downers," please visit hymnforher.com.
Award-winning singer/songwriter, Hilary Scott returns with her 12th full-length album titled "Don't Call Me Angel." It features nine original tracks and one tribute to the legendary, Prince. She begins with the soft, acoustic country ballad "Don't Call Me Angel," before belting out the lyrics of the revengeful blues of "No Used To Being Used." Her new album continues with the more up-tempo swinging rhythm of "You Will Be Mine," before returning to the country blues of "Heartless." Hilary's voice is so beautiful on the piano-led "Moon And Back," before she finishes up her new album with a quiet, acoustic rendition of Prince's "Kiss" and the soulful tones of "Here I Am."
