New from Dead Line Music and Cleopatra Records is the latest release from LA rockers Leader Of Down. Their new album titled "Cascade Into Chaos" features guest appearances by the late Lemmy Kilmister, Fast Eddie Clarke and Lee Richards, just to name a few. The band formed ten years ago by former Motorhead guitarist Wurzel and Tim Atkinson. They worked with ex-Fastways drummer Steve Clarke on their debut album, until the untimely death of Wurzel in 2011. As a tribute, the band forged on with a load of guests in order to finish the album.
The new ten song release begins with the pounding heavy metal rhythm of "Paradise Turned Into Dust" as Lemmy's vocals fit perfectly into this setting. The album continues with Leader Of Down vocalist Matt Baker singing his heart out on the intense feel of "Cascade Into Chaos" and "People Say I'm Crazy." Ugly Kid Joe singer, Whitfield Crane teams up with Motorlhead guitarist Phil Campbell on the classic hard rock sounds of "Children Of Disease," while former Motorhead guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke takes control of the thrash metal speed demon of "Snakebite." The album wraps up with Wurzel's final recording on "The Killing Rain" and the classic Motorhead line-up of Lemmy and Fast Eddie Clarke on the powerful thunder of "Laugh At The Devil."
