Guitarist Marty Friedman Is "One Bad M.F." On His New Live Album
Guitarist Marty Friedman (Megadeth) is preparing to release his premier live album "One Bad M.F. Live!!" on October 19th. According to Friedman, "this live album is a tip of the hat to the live albums that blew my mind when I was a kid." This live album represents his most recent tour in support of his last studio album "Wall Of Sound" and even showcases his love for Tokyo, which he has called home for the last 15 years.
The new 14-track release kicks off with the exciting and aggressive sounds of "Street Demon" and the intense "Elixir." He dives into the work of his last album with the raw, thunderous attack of "Self Pollution," before slowing down for the graceful ballad "Devil Take Tomorrow." Bassist Kiyoshi kicks off the eight-minute "Mutation Medley," which includes snippets of "Asche zu Asche," "My Oh My," "Forbidden City" and "Tornado Of Souls." The whole band comes together to rock Mexico City on this concert highlight. Marty Friedman wraps up his new live album with the magnificent shredding and pounding drums of the "Dragon Mistress," which includes a quick run-through of "Hound Dog" and the Japanese number "Kaeritakunatta Yo," which translates to "I Want To Go Home."
