World-renowned guitarist Dewa Budjana recently released his 11th solo album titled "Mahandini." The new seven-song release also includes some special guests, like guitarist/singer John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Indonesian comedian/singer Soimah Pancawati. The album begins with progressive rock build-up of "Crowded," as Frusciante handles the vocals and helps out with the guitar-fill on this classic rock sounding piece. Dewa adds some jazz fusion to his repertoire during "Queen Kanya," before the native sounds of Soimah Pancawati gives "Hyang Girl" a worldly sound. Guitarist Mike Stern (Blood Sweat & Tears) helps turn "ILW" into a high-energy rocker, before Dewa Budjana closes out his new album with melodic tones of "Zone."
