Arriving February 8th, is the third studio album from singer/songwriter Amy McCarley. The new release titled "MECO" features ten tracks that carry a country vibe, centered around Amy's amazing, warming vocals. The album begins with the steady pace of "A Clue," as she delivers only what is necessary. George Bradfute highlights "Clarksdale Blues" with some nice slide guitar, before special guest Marty Stuart adds mandolin to the classic, front porch strumming of "Never Can Tell." Amy once again showcases her beautiful singing and songwriting on the ballad of "How You Do." She wraps up her new album with the honky-tonk vibe of "Ain't Life Funny," featuring Kenny Lovelace (Jerry Lee Lewis) on fiddle, and the nostalgic country flow of "Farewell Paradise." Another new release arriving in February, comes from singer/songwriter Reed Foehl. His new album titled "Lucky Enough" features ten brand new tracks specially crafted by Reed and backed by the well-known Austin, TX musicians, Band Of Heathens. He starts out with the gentle strumming "Stealing Starlight" and the quiet acoustics of "American Miles," which just excels into the beautiful landscape that Reed paints with his words. He begins to pick the tempo up with the steady rhythm of "If It Rains" and "He's On An Island," but sandwiched in-between is the piano ballad "Carousel Horses." Reed Foehl finishes up his new album with the pop/folk tone of "Wish I Knew" and wonderfully, emotion-filled "Color Me In."
