Southern Avenue "Keep On" Rolling With New Album From Concord Records

Arriving May 10th, on Concord Records, is the sophomore effort from the Memphis soul combo, Southern Avenue. Their new album titled "Keep On" grows upon the band's 2017 debut album, which broke down the boundaries between soul, blues, rock and R&B music. The new twelve-song release begins with the title-song "Keep On," which sounds like it comes straight from the soulful seventies era. The album continues with the Delta blues of "Whiskey Love," before arriving at the spiritual, emotional ballad "Savior."

Southern Avenue gets funky with the beats of "Switchup" and "Jive," which showcases how quick they can get the adrenaline pumping. They finish up their new album with the stomp rhythm, sing along chorus of "We Got The Music" and the inspirational, gospel-like soul of "We're Gonna Make It." Southern Avenue are currently touring the U.S. through the end of the month, before heading over to Europe for a handful of Blues Festivals.
