Jazz Pianist & Songstress Eliane Elias Tells Us Of Her "Love Stories"

Arriving August 30th through the Concord Jazz label is the latest release from pianist, singer and composer Eliane Elias. Her new album titled "Love Stories" finds Eliane revisiting her roots of San Paulo, Brazil in order to bring the bossa nova sound to some of her favorite songs.

The album begins with the gentle swing of "A Man And A Woman," as Eliane quickly asserts that bossa nova rhythm into her music. She adds a bit of swing to the classic love song "Baby, Come To Me," while "Bonita" is the perfect choice of this album, as Eliane's vocals beautifully fit the songs Latin flair. Next, she takes away the horns from Frank Sinatra's version of "Come Fly Away" in order to give the song a gentler melody, before reaching one of the album's original songs, the beautiful ballad "The Simple Things." Eliane Elias finishes her new album with the waltz of "Little Boat," in which Elias sings partially in Portuguese and another wonderful original mellow jazz number, "The View."

Eliane Elias will be hitting the road for a bunch of U.S. dates following the release of her new album "Love Stories." For a complete list of shows and to find out more about her latest release, please visit elianeelias.com.
