The new twelve-track release features some of the band's most aggressive, hard-hitting music of their thirteen year career. While the album clocks in at just over 36-minutes, the songs are intense and in-your-face, with no time for fillers, just pure energy, as displayed in the tracks "333" and "Oh My God." The title-track "Welcome Home" showcases the band invitation to a more mainstream metal sound, while "A Wick's End" and "Bury You" continue to display Vinnie Paul's classic pounding rhythm. The album finishes with the screams of "Boy" and the emotion fueled "Sky and Water."
As one chapter of the band closes, another new one begins with the addition of drummer Ray Mayorga (Stone Sour) taking over drum duties, as the band continue to tour and record. For a list of live dates and to find out more about their new album "Welcome Home," please visit hellyeahband.com.
