Celebrate The New Year With New Live Music From Mrs. Henry As They Rock "The Casbah"

After tackling the massive task of recreating The Band's "The Last Waltz," jamband rockers Mrs. Henry are preparing to unleash a brand new live album "Live At The Casbah." It will be released on January 24th (almost exactly one year from the date of the performance) through the Blind Owl label. The band have chosen to release this show to celebrate the San Diego venue's 30th anniversary, which has played host to many rising bands like the Melvins, The White Stripes and The Alabama Shakes.

Mrs. Henry's five-song set showcases this quartet's amazing instrumental skills, as they push the melody of every song to it's edge, beginning with the nine-minute epic "All I Can Do." Mrs. Henry pick up the energy with the punk-like fury of "Peace," before delivering the mellow, burning blues of "Lovin' You, Baby." They close out their nearly 40-minute release with the soulful, classic rock appeal of "The River," which puts an exclamation point on this stellar live performance.
